Joseph Brunette is an award-winning Director of Photography who has worked for major US broadcasters including National Geographic, PBS, NOVA and Nature, Discovery and numerous marquee specials for History. The Los Angeles Reel Film Festival awarded him, Best Cinematography for his work on the feature length documentary, "The Rivals." He has filmed in many parts of the world including Africa, Haiti, Antarctica, Guatemala, Israel, and the Arctic Circle. Most recently, he filmed in remote parts of Kenya, Nigeria and Nepal for UNICEF to create health related educational films to be shown in rural communities worldwide. Brunette is passionate about bringing to light stories of ordinary people facing difficult circumstances and making a difference in unusual ways.

Additionally, I have created sound design and Foley, while also cleaning the audio on a multitude of video projects. Furthermore, I have experience in recording, mixing, and mastering commercially available music. I generally use Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, and Samplitude, along with software and plugins by iZotope and Waves, but I am open to learning new programs as needed.
